This policy explains how Hearthtale Press LLC (“Hearthtale Press,” “we,” or “us”) handles information when you visit hearthtalepress.com. Hearthtale Lorehouse Books is our fiction imprint and is covered by this policy.

What this website collects

This website is informational. It has no accounts, sign-up forms, shopping cart, or checkout, and we do not use cookies, advertising trackers, or analytics tools on it.

• Email you send us. If you write to hello@hearthtalepress.com, we receive your email address, name (if included), and whatever you choose to share. We use it only to read and reply to your message and keep a record of our correspondence.
• Basic technical information. Like most websites, our hosting provider, Hostinger, automatically records standard server information when pages are requested, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the date and time. This is used to deliver the site, keep it secure, and fix problems.
• Web fonts. Our pages load typefaces from Google Fonts. When they load, your browser connects to Google, which receives your IP address and browser information. Google’s use of that information is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

How we use and share information

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run this website and our email (such as our web and email host), when required by law, or to protect our rights and the safety of others.

Purchases and newsletters

Book purchases and reader newsletters are not handled on this website. When those services open, they will be provided through separate platforms with their own privacy terms, and we will link to the relevant policies from the pages where you buy or sign up.

Children’s privacy

Some of our books are written for young readers, but this website is meant for adults, including parents, teachers, and booksellers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has emailed us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

This website may link to other sites, such as author pages or bookstores. Their privacy practices are their own, and we encourage you to review their policies.

Keeping and deleting information

We keep email correspondence only as long as it is useful for replying to you and for normal business records. You may ask us to tell you what information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it by writing to the address below.
