Tessa Aelst

Contemporary folkloric fiction

Tessa Aelst writes heartfelt folkloric fiction about family, memory, belonging, and the quiet magic found in ordinary places. Drawing upon old traditions and the enduring mysteries of home, her stories blend warmth, gentle suspense, and the supernatural.

Aelst explores the promises passed between generations, the kindness that holds communities together, and the things a house remembers long after its people have gone.
